    Shoes are produced in a predominantly linear fashion and have disastrous effects on the climate. To reach the objectives set in the Paris Agreement, the footwear industry needs to come up with innovative solutions that use smart materials and partnerships to allow for true circularity. We propose a modular sneaker made from detachable and reusable shoe components to shift the shoe industry to circularity. As a Small to Medium-Sized Enterprise (SME), we must rely on the expertise of and the collaboration with partners to fully cover the entire cycle from production, sales, collection, and recycling of the shoes. By integrating customisation into our product, we create value beyond circularity itself and therefore can expect a higher willingness of consumers to pay for it. It also reinforces the emotional attachment to the product, which leads to an extended use phase.

    As part of my Matura paper, I developed a student ID application for iOS and Android made primarily for Zurich schools. The result is a user-friendly and secure application that digitalises processes related to the student ID card using modern web technologies.

    Besides the possibility to present a digital version of the student ID card, it introduces entirely new experiences like a self-service library module to allow students to borrow books rapidly and independently from the school library. The app also connects local businesses with the student community through the means of a curated student discounts collection.

    While the Matura project itself has officially ended (grade 6.0; best possible grade), I am looking into ways to expand this solution to further schools to facilitate the lives of even more students.

  • IF Checklists - Checklists for Infinite Flight

    IF Checklists is an application offering nine, aircraft-specific checklists for the mobile flight simulator, Infinite Flight.

    The app works on both iOS and Android using modern web technologies and features over 45,000 installations. Between building new features, responding to customer enquiries and producing marketing content for various channels, I expand and deepen my knowledge of entrepreneurship, marketing, and technology.

    International Economics Olympiad (IEO)

    The International Economics Olympiad is an annual competition for high school students around the world in the areas of Economics and Finance with over 200 participants from 41 countries in 2022.

    The competition is composed of three parts: financial literacy, economics, and a business case.
    Team Switzerland made it to the top ten in the business case part. Additionally, I received a bronze medal for my overall individual performance.

  • Swiss National Economics Olympiad Winner

    Young Enterprise Switzerland (YES) & science.olympiad.ch

    After getting through a first selection round through an online assessment exam, I got invited to an Innovation Camp to learn more about economics, solve a business case for the Swiss Youth Hostels and meet the other finalists.

    The National Final took place a few weeks later and consisted of a 100-minute-long written economics exam and a case study presentation. As one of the four winners, I had the honor of representing Switzerland at the International Economics Olympiad hosted by China.

Our solution provides a holistic approach designed to prevent abuse, provide social cues digitally, support users with appropriate resources and educate aggressors about the potential consequences their message has.
